Lightweight Motocross Club started the 2020 season well by getting the season underway and completing Rounds 1, 2 and 3 of the Arenacross events, and also many fundraising AX practice nights to help fund the new AX LED Lighting upgrades.
Then, unfortunately the season was suspended and all social gatherings restricted due to COVID-19. We thank everyone for adhering to the government advice and instructions these past few months and hope to get back to normality soon.
The Board and all members are excited to return to racing, as soon as allowable, albeit under new rules, conditions and a modified events calendar 2020. We are hopeful to successfully complete the year with our MX Club Runs and AX Events.
A modified 2020 Calendar has been posted, to accommodate predicted racing commencement in July (Members Page link), under the control of Motorcycling Australia. MA have prepared and published a detailed MA Event COVID-19 Participant Information Checklist for all riders and participants to follow. Click here to head over to the Motorcycling Australia website page and here to view and download the checklist.
